Kuca Stojanovica Topli Do

Pros: The host was very accommodating and responsive. She arranged all the meals and taxi for us, and made the stay a beautiful experience.

Pros: We had a great time staying in Kuca Stojanovica in Topli Do! Our hosts Miodrag and his family were really welcoming. They offered us coffee and watermelons and told us a lot about their special village, its history and culture! This insight made our stay truly special. Miodrag even took us back down to Pirot with his car, which was super helpful, and gave us some recommendations on restaurants there!

Perfect

Pros: Beautiful and spacious home with everything you need. The river flows through your backyard, which is beautiful to look at. Great facilities, good heating, super comfy beds. Great starting point for hiking to numerous waterfalls.

Picture perfect!

Pros: Excellent location, right in the heart of the national park, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, mountains, canyons - numerous hiking options! The hosts are there to help you when needed. They can organize tasty cooked meals (including vegetarian and vegan!) for a very reasonable price - breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Also, you can negotiate a lift in a 4x4 for up to 5 people (if you don't want to hike all the way, or you want to be picked up somewhere). The apartment is clean, spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. The house has a tidy garden, it is set just outside the village frozen in past. Altogether, a picture perfect setup! You can arrive by (any kind) of car, the road is good. Keep in mind, the village is tiny and there's only one small/basic shop (open at random times), and no restaurants for miles around.

If you really want to really enjoy the nature of Stara Planina, Topli do si the right place for it.

Pros: Great quiet place with a lot of hiking trails of various difficulties going to various waterfalls and even a long track all the way to Midžor. Place is very quiet and nicely isolated, so if you are a fan of nature Stara Planina (Old Mountain) is highly recommended. Swinging on the swings while listening to river and watching the sunset is a great end to a day spent in the mountain. There is a canteen in the village with pretty decent food. Not fancy but traditional home-made Serbian food. And you can agree on the times of the meals. Bit expensive for what it offers, but saves you on preparing food and doing the dishes.

Cons: If you contact the owners personally and not go trough the booking site you can actually get a better price. Something we wish we knew. Just a personal preference but the beds could have been more comfortable.

Pros: Boravak u Kući Stojanovića je prošao fenomenalno. Apartman je odličan - u potpunosti opremljen, udoban i čist. Terasa prelepa, dvorište takođe. Priroda je nestvarna, smeštaj se nalazi na samoj obali reke što svakako doprinosi ugođaju. Domaćini su ljubazni i spremni da pomognu za sve što zatreba. Sve preporuke od nas zaista! :) :)

Pros: Apartman je čist, udoban i odlično opremljen. Topli do je odlična polazna tačka za razne ture, a i sam boravak u smeštaju je dovoljan za odmor jer je pored reke u divnom okruženju. Apartman je jako dobro opremljen, tako da može da se sprema hrana, a takođe je moguće dogovoriti obroke sa vlasnikom.

Pros: Super lokacija, smeštaj je odličan. U vezi svih tura za obilaženje može da se raspita kod Miljana, objasnio nam je svaki put gde da idemo. Svaki apartman ima mapu sa lokacijama u blizini.
